Packed, shipped – and soon to be exhibited!
Around 40 of my paintings are on their way to Italy for my solo exhibition Voynich Manuscript Flora, which will take place in the unique setting of Galleria della Biblioteca Angelica – right in the heart of Rome, just steps from Piazza Navona. ✨
The gallery is housed in one of the oldest public libraries in Europe – founded in 1604 – and today it hosts not only rare manuscripts, but also contemporary art. And now, my mysterious plants too. :)
Opening: Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 6:00 PM
Address: Via di S. Agostino 11, Rome
The exhibition runs until May 10, 2025
Curated by Anna Isopo in collaboration with Martina Scavone
This exhibition is very personal to me.
It was created as a tribute to the Voynich manuscript – a mysterious book full of plants, symbols, and characters that no one has ever been able to decode.
So I imagined my own – fictional, dreamlike, sometimes eerie, sometimes beautiful.
It’s about plants that might not exist.
About stories that can’t be told in words. About imagination that can’t be tamed.
If you happen to be in Rome at that time… you know where to go.
And if you’d like to read more about the show, here’s the article:
