Who I Am?
I am a Czech painter and artist. In my work, I like to get lost in a world of imagination, where colors and symbols speak for me. Instead of reality, I put into my painting what only exists inside me.

How I Create
My paintings come to me as visions. I like to say that I have access to an endless plain of imagination on which I pluck ideas – and even better, I bring those ideas here, into the real world.
Visions and Imagination
When I create, I don’t need a plan. The images appear on their own – like unexpected visitors from another world.
All I need is a moment of silence, and suddenly a landscape of forms, colors and moods opens before me.
Sometimes vivid and urgent, sometimes unfolding slowly – like mist dissolving in morning light.
"Images come to me not from reality, but from places that exist only inside."
Paintings as stories
I like to paint in series – each painting is then part of a larger whole. Sometimes it is the story of an imaginary hero, other times it is a record of a world I have created. Series like Eel Man or Fogbowfollow specific characters and their inner landscapes. The series Friends or Bizarre Vacation map the world with its own logic and atmosphere.
Synesthesia and the Colors of Emotions
I am a synesthetic – all numbers, letters and emotions have a color in my head. I remember memories like little rooms that I can unpack and revisit. The world inside me is alive, colorful and constantly changing. It is from this that I draw my work. Color for me is not just an aesthetic choice – it is the language of emotions and meanings.
Bringing a vision to reality
The moment when the image I see in my head begins to emerge on the canvas brings me the greatest joy. I am smeared with paint, tired, but completely absorbed in the magic of something invisible becoming real. This process will never lose its magic for me. It is a bit like magic – turning a vision into reality.
