If you take a closer look at the photo, you might notice the detail – a "K" around my neck stands for Knihex. Symbolic, right? 😊 For me, Knihex is a place where my passions come together – art, books, and the chance to share everything I create and publish with you.
I’ve gotten used to the fact that I’ve been living my dream as a full-time artist for several years now. But honestly? Sometimes I stop, realize it, and think: WOW. And it still surprises me a bit that besides painting and exhibitions, I also have my own publishing house. And even though we have "only" three titles so far, we’re already preparing two new ones for next year – so there’s no shortage of work.
So, what can you find from our publishing house at Knihex?
For example, our latest release, Trojměstí by Ondřej Bína – a fascinating story from a fictional center of Europe that takes you into a world of virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and forgotten dreams. Or the poetry collection Procesy by Aurora Coriolis, which explores the inner world of human emotions, desires, and thoughts. The collection is inspired by experiences from Prague’s Academy of Fine Arts and encounters with people from around the world.
And, of course, my tarot cards, inspired by the visual style of classic Italian and French tarot decks from the 15th and 17th centuries, along with postcards and posters, which you can browse, touch, and take home.
Knihex reminds me how lucky I am to do what I love and share my work with you.
