For years, I have been reading various publications on (not only) folk magic, witchcraft, and rituals. From Slavic folk healing, through Haitian voodoo, to southern Italian witchcraft. I am fascinated by "magical thinking" and the transcendence of the boundaries of our world. The themes of witchcraft and magic have been bubbling up in my work for a long time and are coming now to the surface. And so, I finally prepared a whole series of paintings dedicated solely to magic. A world beyond the boundaries that shamans, fortune tellers, healers, streghe, or bokors have been crossing since ancient times.

Most of the works you will see here are mysterious windows. We can open them and reach for magic - somewhere into the void or into secret spaces. You are standing in the middle of the Lexicon of Magic.
